刻南瓜

今天主管找去喝咖啡面談，
在排隊點飲料的時候，
他問我這周末要幹嘛？

My supervisor and I went to a coffee meeting this afternoon.
He asked me what's my plan for this weekend when we waited in line.

我：我們明天要去Livermore的Corn Field Maze，他們今年以Charlie Brown做主題，所以我想要去。你呢？周末要幹嗎？
主管：明天我親戚會辦一個刻南瓜派對，我要帶我那兩個小的去。
我：喔~好棒，其實我從來沒有刻過南瓜。
主管：喔..那你應該要試試。
我：嗯..現在沒關係，我想等我有小孩時，我有很多機會可以刻南瓜。
主管：嗯..對。

Me: We are going to the corn field maze in Livermore tomorrow. They have Charlie Brown as the theme this year, so I want to go to check out. How about you?
Supervisor: My relative will have a pumpkin crave party, I am going to take my two young ones.
Me: Oh, that's great, I never have craved a pumpkin.
Supervisor: Oh then you should try it.
Me: hmmm.. I think I am fine now. I think I will have a lot of chances craving pumpkins when I have kids.
Supervisor: hmm you are right.
